Today's guest is Dr. Edritz Javelosa, Chief Scientific Officer at the Charcot-Marie Tooth Research Foundation (CMTRF). Edritz is a proud former first-generation/low-income (FLI) student who moved to America from the Philippines with her family as a teen. After earning her PhD in Neuroscience at Stanford University, Edritz quickly moved through the ranks at the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation within 3.5 years and was selected to be the new Chief Scientific Officer at CMTRF about 4 years after her degree was conferred.
