The next time you sit for lunch or dinner; try to be mentally predisposed with right attitudes toward food.  We are advised to sit with an attitude of thankfulness to the people who prepared the food for us.  We mentally offer the food to the various agents of combustion and transformation within us, spiritually called Rudras.  These attitudes prepare our physical bodies to receive the food.  We should be  conscious of the food we take and intentionally enjoy the taste of it without being mentally distracted.
