Chanci is an Arizona native and has served in the field of dentistry since 2003. She started out as a dental assistant while doing her prerequisite courses for dental hygiene school. She graduated from Weber State University with honors in 2008. After working in private practice full time for six years she started teaching at the Utah College of Dental Hygiene in 2014. She has since received her Masters Degree in Education and continues to teach both clinical and didactic courses.
Chanci served in SADHA, on the component level, and became the Treasurer and Alternate Delegate for UDHA in 2019. She loves dental hygiene and is excited for the opportunity to serve her fellow colleagues in their shared career.
When Chanci isn't busy with dental hygiene she is probably on some grand adventure with her husband and their four boys or reading a good book.
