Für mich war er einer der ganz, ganz Großen in der Musik Manege.

Ich habe ein paar wirklich bedeutenden Künstlern real begegnen dürfen,

aber das kurze Aufeinandertreffen mit Ryuichi Sakamoto 1990 in Düsseldorf

gehört zu den ganz besonderen Begegnungen in meinem Leben.

Ein aussergewöhnlich schöner Mann und begnadetes Genie.

Niemals werde ich diesen Moment vergessen.

Er wird immer in und durch seine Musik für uns weiterleben.

Machen Sie es gut, Herr Sakamoto, wir werden Sie vermissen!

For me he was one of the really greats in the music arena.

I've had the chance to meet some really important artists in real life,

but the brief encounter with Ryuichi Sakamoto in Düsseldorf in 1990

is one of the very special ones in my life.

An extraordinarily handsome, beautiful man and gifted genius.

I will never forget this moment.

He will always live on for us in and through his music.

Take care Mr. Sakamoto, we will miss you!
