Our guest Shocka, is not only a music artist but also a poet, mental health advocate and speaker. Shocka’s mental health deteriorated shortly after his music career took a major blow. Following this, he was later diagnosed Schizophrenia and was sectioned 4 times. This episode discusses Shocka’s journey, with a focus on mental health issues in the black community and difficulties of breaking stigma.
