A few weeks ago, Stefani posted photos of bruises on her face and revealed that she was a victim of domestic violence. On Facebook, she shared that it took her a long time to gather the courage to speak out and share her perspective on the incident, which sparked a wave of outrage on social media.

She also stepped in front of the camera for the Mindset Power Talk podcast—not just to share her personal story with Milena Hadzhiivanova, but to help raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence.

But Stefani is so much more than what happened to her. She has been a pastry chef for 11 years and has won the title of “Pastry Chef of the Year” in Bulgaria for two consecutive years. At the age of 20, she participated in a culinary reality show, where her mentor was again Chef Viktor Angelov.

Stefani graduated from the Art High School, majoring in Graphics, and trained in rhythmic gymnastics for six years. She loves adrenaline and high speeds but is most devoted to her 5-year-old twin daughters, Ivon and Adriana.

She is brave!

🎶 She speaks through her songs. She does not hide her emotions or her “dark side.” She wants to reach and help those who listen to her.

She stays true to herself, even if it costs her some popularity, especially in Bulgaria.

She is the only artist from Eastern Europe to have been featured on the #AppleMusic global cover—standing alongside worldwide stars like Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, and others.

In 2019, she was selected to represent Bulgaria at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam, but the event was canceled due to the pandemic.

She then prepared a new song and competed in Eurovision 2021 with "Growing up is getting old," finishing 11th in the final ranking.

In 2021, she won the third season of “The Masked singer” in Bulgaria.

As a person? – She is an adoptive pet parent and raises five dogs.

🌟 She says “YES to life!”
Iren has a destiny that some might call challenging, a life that others would live with limitations – but not her.

Part of her personal story involves a condition called cystic fibrosis, triggered by a severe bout of pneumonia.

⛷️ She lived with a steadily declining lung capacity that dropped to less than 30%. This didn’t stop her from strapping an oxygen device into her backpack, skiing, and living life to the fullest.

Until one day in 2016, while being transported in an ambulance due to her worsening condition, her fate was decided. She woke up with transplanted lungs and a double responsibility toward life.

The new air she breathes is thanks to people who made the difficult decision to give life to another person while experiencing loss themselves. For this reason, Iren lives her life with a mission today.
She has the #mindset of a champion – and that of a visionary.

Seven years after the life-saving surgery, Iren competed in the World Winter Transplant Games for transplant recipients, living donors, and their families in Bormio, Italy. She holds world and European titles – in skiing, tennis, and table tennis.

"Let’s talk about organ donation with our families and friends. It’s not scary. What’s truly scary is counting down the minutes of life you have left, knowing that salvation depends on someone else. This is a conversation about life."

The historic event took place on October 16, 2016, after several years of intensive work to organize it. Thousands gathered at and around Sofia Airport to witness the landing and, three hours later, the takeoff of this giant aircraft.
