We all have the power to change our lives and any circumstance starting with the way we view it. It took me 30 years to hear this and 5 more (still going) to learn its power. 

Recently, I have been repeating and internalizing the following:
"Everything happens FOR me and not TO me." 
"I can choose to see nothing as a miracle or I can choose to see everything as a miracle."
"Follow your heart"
"Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change."
