Would you like to feel more patient — without forcing yourself to slow down or “be better” at waiting?
In this episode, I explore how our relationship with time itself often creates frustration, restlessness, and a constant sense of pressure. When time is experienced only as something scarce and slipping away, patience becomes almost impossible.
I reflect on my own past fixation with productivity and how it shaped a tense, future-oriented relationship with time. Constantly oscillating between what had already happened and what needed to happen next, I found very little space to actually inhabit the present.
Time is finite, but our experience of it is surprisingly malleable. It expands and contracts depending on attention, environment, and meaning. When we treat time purely as a resource to manage, we often lose touch with the experiences that give life its depth — connection, presence, and appreciation.
In this conversation, I explore:
how time pressure creates chronic frustration
why productivity-focused thinking quietly erodes patience
how shifting your perception of time can soften urgency
and how presence naturally restores patience without effort
This isn’t about abandoning structure or responsibility. It’s about loosening the rigid story we tell ourselves about time, so moments can be lived rather than managed.
If you’ve been feeling rushed, impatient, or quietly dissatisfied — even when things are “going well” — this episode offers a gentler way of relating to time, and to yourself.
