Twelve years ago, Racheal's Rest was founded by Dr. Karen McDonald and Susan Hixon of Atlanta, Georgia, licensed counselors specializing in child sexual abuse and domestic violence.  They both speak on their clinical background, personal healing journeys through their life-threatening abusive partners, and share insights into why unaddressed negative patterns need to surface, address it, and relearn healthy ways to cope for healing to begin and create a life free of guilt, shame, and self-worth to find love and joy again!
