Felipe found passion for education and equity when he started volunteering for his students union, University of Toronto Mississauga Students Union (UTMSU).
At the UTMSU, he held many positions from a Director of the Board, to Vice-President Campus Life and then President. After, Felipe was elected the Chairperson and representative of students in Ontario via the Canadian Federation of Students - Ontario (CFS-O), where he advocated for Free and Accessible Education for all in Ontario and across the country.
