Here's a spooky mini episode for Halloween!

This is a Japanese legend which was adapted into a bunraku play (puppets, no wonder we're drawn to it.) The it features a Yurei, a particular type of Japanese female ghost normally dressed in white with trailing black hair, possibly of the Onryo subset as she is on the vengeful side. As you'll recognise, this story has had a huge influence of horror both within and outside pf Japan.
