Gratitude schmatitude. A church talk I heard this past weekend made me wonder why the most powerful being in the universe needs so much thanks and recognition? Why does the Mormon God remind me of my manipulative mom (rest her soul!). Did Jesus really heal the 10 lepers? And if my kids thanked me as much as I used to thank God--I'd smack them.
