This mini podcast discusses the 5th hurdle to successfully passing the baton to the next generation. We are discussing D – Disasters and Unplanned Events in our FREEDOM model. This hurdle is relevant to both the incumbent generation and the next generation. Many family businesses have had media training and are ready if there is a natural disaster or an injury on site but what they don’t plan for is, what if something happens to the owner?

About me

My name is Kirsten Taylor-Martin and I am an accredited family business advisor with Family Business Australia and Family Firm Institute. I specialise in assisting family businesses with inter generational change, governance structures and tax structuring and asset protection.

I am joined by my daughter Angelina Martin who is a student studying her HSC.

Often family businesses feel they are the only ones with troubles. Our podcast plans to showcase, you are not on your own and their are family business advisors available to assist.

Staying true to our business, we have kept it in the family with the presenter being a mother-daughter team and our producer is my son Zane Martin.
