Features of Gallbladder Carcinomas
-- The fifth most common cancers of the gastrointestinal tract.
-- Poor prognosis and very low overall 5-year survival rates of  less than 5%. 
-- The most common type is adenocarcinomas.
-- Adenocarcinomas usually are positive for IMP3, S100P, and Maspin.
-- The pathologic staging differs from that of other carcinomas in the GI tract.
