Of the vast number of churches that exist in America, why did we choose the church of Christ as our church family? Once we explored the vast evidence of God's existence and then the pre-scientific foreknowledge and archaeological evidence pointing to the divine inspiration of the scriptures, our logic became the relatively simple process of elimination we share in this podcast.

Preview: We wanted a Christianity minus every manmade doctrine, religious practice and tradition various denominations have imposed these last 2000 years of church history. We don't want to settle for anything less than the beautiful simplicity of the original,  pre-denominational (even pre-Catholic) Christianity of the First Century, when Christians not only rejected the trappings of materialism (Acts 2:45), they were unencumbered with the extra-biblical teachings  that unnecessarily rob too many believers today of the freedom in Christ we were meant to enjoy. 

When we rid our belief systems of the excess of human innovation and jettison the superfluous power structures, unnecessary busywork and showmanship, what's left is a clean, authentic, restored Christianity. 

Our invitation to everyone is to declutter your spiritual life and enjoying a more minimalist Christianity that  abounds in love and service, but not in "teaching as doctrines the precepts of men." (Matthew 15:9)
