Currently working out of Hyderabad, India, Sue Singh is one of our newest co-hosts with over 15 years of experience in sales. Get to know a little bit more about her sales journey, how she’s felt like an “other” in sales, and what she’s most proud of.
Her Sales Journey
-Sue accidentally fell into sales in 2004 after her father fell sick, and instead of pursuing an MBA, she decided to stay home with him and look for a job. After interviewing for what she thought was a customer service position, she ended up in a sales role.
-With the help of some great managers, she fell in love with sales and has now been in the industry for 15 years, working mainly in the U.S. market from her home in India.
Getting Connected to OSoS
-Ashleigh and Sue were connected through the social media post of a mutual friend.
Feeling Like an “Other” in Sales
-Always. She’s not only a woman but an introvert, and she began her sales career early. When she first started, she was the youngest person on her team.
