It's summer and nothing says summer like flat days and kid waves. So it's a perfect time to explore the world of soft to foam boards.  In our first minisode, I review two models I recently tried out: the Softtech Flash and Catch Surf RNF (by Lost). 

I was looking for a board that provided a good "funformance" blend. I wanted something that would be easy for my son to ride while also providing some performance aspects beyond your typical foamy log/Wavestorm-type board.
