Taiwan is taking a bold step to attract global talent with a New Visa Program. Starting January 2025, foreign digital professionals can stay in Taiwan for up to six months under a new digital nomad visa, announced by the National Development Council (NDC) in Tainan.

NDC Minister Liu Chin-ching highlighted that Taiwan ranks #1 in Asia for digital nomads, thanks to its food, lifestyle, and tourist attractions. With NT$150 billion (US$4.59B) invested annually in innovation and entrepreneurship, Taiwan is eager to welcome remote workers.

Tainan, recently named a Top 24 destination for 2024 by CNN Travel, is also emerging as a high-tech hub with a dedicated digital nomad service center. 🌆🚀
