After Peter’s denial of Jesus and Jesus’ resurrection, Jesus comes to Peter while he and the disciples are fishing.  The disciples experience a miraculous catch of fish.  Even though Jesus knows Peter’s failures, Jesus approaches Peter in this moment and asks Peter “do you love me?” three times.  In order to be given ministry, this is the question Peter must answer, and this is the question we must answer as well.
