Every church has the same purpose. Scripture makes it clear what the church should be doing. However, we let culture, religious tradition, and preferences to cloud our purpose. Jesus has already given the church her purpose through the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
A strong church is built upon a strong sense of purpose. Purpose drives everything within the organization. Purpose deals with the question, “why do you exist?” If you don’t know why your church exists, you are really going to struggle.
