Bass house, Dark techno, Tech house, Breaks, and more. This is Ty Van Herwig, more commonly known by his stage name, Minør. As a producer/DJ hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Minør bringing a bit of darkness to his melodic tunes. He's the co-founder of the Sub 49 Collective and Sub 49 Records, which has gained substantial traction and following over the last few years. I am honored to have the chance to sit down with and talk about what it's like to be part of the Seattle electronic music community, balance responsibilities as a musician vs running a label, musical therapy, battles with alcoholism, and what we're excited for in the future.
