Last week, the Governor announced the addition of a multicultural subcommittee to the state’s coronavirus task force. The Utah Department of Health has reported that racial minorities, especially Latinos, represent a disproportionally high percentage of the state’s COVID-19 cases. Nubia Peña, director of the Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs, will lead new panel and explains the goals of the committee.
