Straight out of Saturday when 3 different meet ups held despite the rain that fell & Eyo festival, people still came out & all events had different success stories to tell. Kudos to the organizers of the Angular Nigeria meet up, Product Hunt Lagos meet up & Docker Nigeria!

We moved on to talk about a trio of tools that can easily make your Slack more powerful.

First of all was Watchdog, an application monitoring tool that monitors your platform & notifies you of downtimes right in your slack channel. V2 is almost out don’t sleep on this one

Next was SlackWord, a dictionary right in your Slack. Get a particular word meaning or random definitions of various words every day. Great customization on this one :)

Lastly, Worklogs! For remote workers & their managers, it helps you to track the number of working hours right in Slack. There’s even a dashboard for this one!
