On every corner, you saw 'em carryin' the banner, bringing you the news one song at a time. Poor dancers and singers, the newsies were an athletic army, without a leader, except for Kenny Ortega, the director, who also was totally their leader. Until one day, none of that changed, except that the movie was done and you could go watch it.
