Weather in the parks today is partly cloudy with a high of 70 degrees

Today in Disney History in the year 1929, Disney’s Mickey Mouse short The Opry House is released. It is the first time Mickey is seen wearing his Trademark white gloves.

On this day in the year 1987 - The very first Disney Store opens, in the Glendale Galleria, in Glendale California. It was Disney’s First retail store outside of a theme park or resort.

Breaking News This Morning Beginning May 1st, Disneyland, DCA, Esplanade & Downtown Disney will be SMOKE-FREE Areas. There will be designated smoking areas outside the parks.

Also, Beginning May 1st Oversized Strollers and Wagons will no longer be allowed in the parks.

And Starting today, No More Loose or dry Ice will be allowed. So if you pack a cooler, only reusable ice packs will now be allowed.

More breaking News, No standby line of any kind will be allowed at The New Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. Only guests with a reservation for the New Land will be allowed inside until June 24th.
