Paul throws the "free riders" off the bus. Wherever you find a group of people enjoying the benefits of being in the group, there'll be some who want to partake of the benefits, without doing their part to produce them. This is called the "free rider problem." And it's wrecked many well-intended human endeavors. The early church could have been overwhelmed [and sunk] by free riders, if not for a simple rule.
