Josh and Aly were high school sweethearts who married at a young age and were looking forward to starting a family when the unthinkable happened. Aly was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer that required sixteen rounds of chemotherapy and threatened to steal her life and her fertility. But the Lord had bigger and better plans than Josh and Aly could even conceive. Come enjoy this story of how God showed up with miracle upon miracle for this couple.   

Below are some of our favorite takeaways from today’s show:  

⭐️ Healing is a process. We all want the miracle moment, but oftentimes it’s the pain that  will bring forth a disposition of thankfulness and appreciation.  

⭐️ Praying Scripture with no physical evidence that His promises will come to pass requires an element of faith. However, when we trust His timing and commit to walk by faith, He will blow our minds with His goodness. 

⭐️ The blessing of adoption allows the gospel to come alive because ultimately that is precisely how God feels about us as His sons and daughters. Adoption does not depend on a man’s version of love, but rather the incredible love of God.  

⭐️ God uses our stories to give other people hope. However, there is typically much work that is done behind the scenes before we are ready to testify.  

⭐️ Life is sequence of light and darkness (hills and valleys), but the key is to keep our eyes on the Light even in seasons of darkness. Trust in God’s vision and plan, even in the darkest moments.
