Paul never intended to be shipwrecked on this island, and yet God made the most of this seemingly needless detour brought about by poor decisions. Paul's miraculous ministry at Malta further reinforces God's ability to work bad things towards His good ends and to supernaturally protect and powerfully work through His people to bring healing and restoration to the world.
