Pentecostalism and the charismatic movement have cut a wide swath across Christendom. A multitude of churches have introduced into their worship assemblies such practices as tongue-speaking and alleged miraculous healing. For many, to question the genuineness of such practices is unthinkable. But what does the Bible say? Is subjective experience to be given more credence than what the Bible says?
