The name Miriam is a girl's name of Hebrew origin meaning "drop of the sea, bitter, or beloved". I think the fact that her name’s meaning is conflicting with something sweet like beloved and something, well, bitter like bitter is fitting for her. If you stick around, you’ll find out why.
