Everyone asks: What’s my worth? What’s my purpose?
“Identity formation involves three key tasks: Discovering and developing one’s potential, choosing one’s purpose in life, and finding opportunities to exercise that potential and purpose.” Psychology Today
Once we were also ruled by the selfish desires of our bodies and minds. We had made God angry, and we were going to be punished like everyone else. Ephesians 2:3-5
But God was merciful! We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much that he made us alive with Christ, and it is by God’s grace that we have been saved. Ephesians 2:3-5
Answers the question: What’s my worth?
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10
Answers the question: What’s my worth? What’s my purpose?
You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. Ephesians 2:19-20

The strength of our identity is tied to the stability of the foundation it’s built on.
