Who we are will always determine what we do

Then Jesus said to them, “don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable?” Mark 4:13

Path=wound, Shallow=selfishness, weeds=idols, soil=humble heart

Jesus came into the very world he created, but the world wouldn’t recognize him. He came to his own people and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:10-12

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of his one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14

Wounds warp our who – hurts deafen our hearing

Selfishness warps our view – pleasure blinds our purpose

Idols warp our who FMO bends our heart to the false

Letting God answer our “who” question leads to an unshakeable identity that allows for a life of significance.
