This month we ventured into the likes of an "Awkward Black Girl", courtesy Issa Rae, who in my opinion is anything but.  Her autobiography is a glimpse into her childhood misadventures and how she became the bad ass chick she is today.  This book might not have been our favorite so far, but doesn't change our love for Issa.
