Let me tell you something… A great lie about being a black and strong women is that we are black and a strong women for everyone else. The last time I checked I was still lifting me up off the ground. I mean are we not damsel enough??… Always having to be strong but sometimes longing to be saved by God or man. Black Women been bending their backs for broken people. Cutting ourselves trying to pick up the pieces. Superheroes but they don’t give us no cape…..Whew Chileeeeee!! In Episode 46 "Miss Celie's Blues” our guest talk about the concept of the strong black women and how it’s impacted their lives since an early age.
