In Chapter 12, it finds that the ‘Nereus’, the transport ship that's taking Matthias south, has ventured into one of the infamous storms found frequently in the Bay of Biscay.

Arriving in Lisbon,Matthias receives an urgent missive that means further travel, this time northwards. Will this be an exciting adventure this time around?

Will Horatia be forgotten, driven from his thoughts by the new life  of intrigue and espionage that Matthias finds himself ensconced in?

Will Matthias be similarly forgotten with Horatia spending time with a dashing Captain in Bath?

It is the start to a pleasant Saturday morning with Horatia receiving a surprise, then a visit to the famous Pump Rooms in Bath with her mother, to taste the waters and to mingle with a new society to discover what it has to offer, allowing her to continue to make  new friends.

Will there be any gentlemen sparking her interest here in Bath?
