Sonya Nadine Mae
Sonya Nadine Mae Cywink was born in Little Current on Manitoulin Island on August 19, 1963. Her body (and that of her unborn child) was found at Southwold Earthworks, a 40-minute drive southwest of London, ON on Aug. 30, 1994.
This year marks 25 years since her murder and the case is still unsolved. National Online Reporter Jane Gerster and Supervising Producer of Original Content Brent Stanley travelled to Manitoulin Island to speak with Sonya's sister, Meggie, and the community where she grew up.
