Twenty-eight-year-old Bernard "Bernie" Grempel went missing on May 14, 2021. That evening he took the SkyTrain from Surrey to New Westminster before boarding the 340 bus to North Delta around 11 p.m. No one has ever determined if he got off the bus or where.
He's 30 years old, 6' tall, and has a slim build, curly brown hair and brown eyes. I talked to his older sister Ettie Shurack who is searching for her Brother. His family is offering a $50,000 reward for anyone who can help bring Bernie home. Shurack also manages a Facebook group called "Bernard Grempel is Missing," where you can get up-to-date information in their search for Bernard. After two years of searching, Shurack worries about her Brother and says he is a well-liked and popular member of her family and community.
If you have seen Bernard or know where he is, please call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477. This is my conversation with Ettie.
