Tonight we are going to look into the case of a missing boeing 777. In 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared. The aircraft departed from Kuala Lumpur Airport on March 8 destined for Beijing, China, with 239 people on board.
Under the control of Captain Zaharie Shah, the Boeing 777 last communicated with air traffic control at 1.19am while travelling over the South China Sea, before disappearing.
Despite two full years of searching an area of ocean covering more than 120,000 square kilometers, it has never been found.
MH370 is the only unexplained missing vessel in modern aviation history.
