On October 8, 2009, Bobby, Sherilynn, and 6-year-old Madyson disappeared from their home in Eufaula, Oklahoma. They were on an outing to Red Oak, Oklahoma to view land they were thinking of buying, A 40-acre plot at that, but never returned home. It is said that they were wanting to place a storage shed they already owned on that land to live in. Extended family reported them as missing just a few days later saying they know the family was seen in that area looking to purchase land but they did not return from the woods. The family had vanished with no reason known to anyone. Where did they go? What actually happened to a whole family? Was the plot of land a spur of the moment idea or was it in their thoughts for a long time? Did they try to "go off the grid"?
