You probably remember walking to the bus stop many times as a child. You were also most likely under the impression that you'd make it to school, continue about your day and make it home safe to start the routine all over again the next day. For 11-year-old Jaycee, this was not the case on a day in June of 1991. Her story has been told time and time again, was turned into a piece of written work and was featured on many talk shows, including The Dr. Phil Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and many more. Kayla and I go over this case almost 29 years later and how Jaycee has learned to cope with this traumatic incident.
