How is it that prickly porcupines can live more peaceably together than people can?  Could it be that, despite the Lord’s command to pursue peace, people often choose paths that do not lead to peace? The Scriptures warn us about those paths.  Maybe we could learn something from porcupines about taking care not to harm others, being gentle, and keeping our quills retracted around those closest to us.
