Vulnerability is a cage which we allow to be built around us. Our fears, our helpless and ego stops  us from breaking out of this cage. It is a mental state that holds us back. Vulnerability is just a mental state. Once we realise that, we also realise how irrational we had  been with our near and dear ones and how we have mistreated people around us.
