Before sending out His twelve disciples as laborers into the harvest, Jesus gave them detailed instructions. In this first part of His "Mission Discourse" he instructed them on how they should and should not provision themselves for the work ahead. Although these were very specific instructions for a very specific time period, there are important parallels to the mission of the church today, as we learn in this expository sermon from Matthew 10:5-15.
