Ellen Dee Davidson lives in the redwoods of northern California where she has fallen in love with the trees. It began when the old growth redwood behind her house visited her in reoccurring dreams. Then she felt called to spend time hiking and meditating in the ancient forests. Over the next 17 years, the trees healed Ellen from fibromyalgia, insomnia and chronic fatigue as well as opening up her perception, creativity, and imagination in unexpected ways. Ellen has worked as a creative writing, piano, elementary school teacher and author.
