Seems the next mission may infact be impossible... or at least, temporarily. Hunt and team will lose this outing in Dead Reckoning Part I but will likely succeed in Part II. Not all will survive, and I think if Cruise is really done with the franchise, his Ethan Hunt will retire permanently. No viral trailer moments, some familiar action sequences, and while we appreciate them not spoiling everything in the trailer... I wonder if Reckoning Part I will suffer at the box office? Hopefully another trailer or spot will get fans talking.

I also reflect on the previous installments, each very special in its own way. One franchise where different directors isn't a bad thing. Style, sick action sequences, love stories, and some visual masterpieces.
