This week we wrap up our study of Designed for More by Lucas Ramirez with a supplemental thought brought to us by Pastor Steve Scarrow or Friendship Alliance Church. This week we focus in on how Jesus paid for it. Pastor Steve does not leave this to abstraction but pinpoints Jesus’s ministry of reconciliation. What is it? How is it leading to unity? Find out this week.

The topic is “Better Together.” In this episode we tackle some of the issues within the Black Church community in Moultrie and between the Black and predominantly white churches. Cornelius challenges our understanding of how to approach reconciliation, how humility is the key to being together, and some biblical strategies for unity.

John is off hiking somewhere this week, so we are going to take a break from “Designed for More” to introduce a new book on the Church Unity Scene— Until Unity by Frances Chan. For that we have Adam Eubanks in the studio to discuss the hard hitting, no-holds-barred introduction to the book. Chan levels some pretty serious allegations and begs the church to consider the implications.
