I know some missionaries who work alone. But I also know some who serve as a family or as a team. One organization, I know, sends multiple families for long periods of time to live amongst the people they are serving. The families are working together to share the Good News.

The apostle Paul in his travels always went with somebody as well. Remember the story of Paul and Silas in jail? There was a third key member of their team - the Holy Spirit - who very soon broke them out of jail. The jail keeper was then led to Christ due to the teamwork of Paul, Silas, and the Holy Spirit.

As we reach our world let’s remember that we are part of the body of Christ. We are part of a team. We don’t have to reach our world alone. The body of Christ is made to work together. My own ministry is a team ministry. I love being a part of a team when ministering to people anywhere in the world. Our ministry would not be as effective if we didn’t have a team. Even Jesus had a 12-member team. Remember? Ask God in what way He wants to use you to reach your world with your friends.
