The TDS demonstrates a little culture this time around with Bill Campbell, longtime missionary to France. Bill and his wife Kristie both grew up in Philadelphia, with Bill at one point working at AM 560 WFIL in the sales department. Bill & Kristie moved to Paris with their five children in late 2010 and are home on furlough for a season. He shares about the spiritual climate in France, what the Lord has taught him over the years, and gives a little cultural insight as well (including a short lesson on the French language). Jumping into the conversation for our final segment is Jody McBrayer of the award-winning group Avalon, which has sold 4+ million albums and had 22 #1 radio singles since its inception in 1996. Jody shares a very powerful story of how the Lord gave him perspective that life is not going to be easy, and that the challenges we face can make a person bitter and angry or refocus and refine a person to help one become a better vessel for God’s use (www.avalonthegroup.com and www.canasmusic.com are the two websites you can find out more about Jody’s current work and ministry in music).
