We are back after a long winter break, and what a way to kick off the Korn Ferry Tour Season than with Tupelo native, Hayden Buckley winning with a birdie on the first playoff hole. Buckley was the last man into the field as an alternate on Thursday and he took that piece of good fortune and translated it into a his first win on the Korn Ferry Tour.
This week we are excited too look forward to the Masters that is being played in November. Although it will be strange without the patrons in attendance, we are excited for a fun week of Fall golf from Augusta. The Masters Preview begins at around the 13 minute mark of the episode.
We also recap some of the latest Mississippi Golf Association tourneys as well as recap some fall college golf as well. And let's not forget our shout out to Ally McDonald who recently won on the LPGA Tour.

Paul is back and joins us as we discuss the end of the Korn Ferry Tour season. Davis Riley has had a great year and is currently in 3rd looking to continue that success into the 2021 season. We also have a few more colleges getting underway as Delta State hosts for their first tournament of the year and win in grand style shooting 42 under par. Also Southern Miss gets going with a 5th place finish at Middle Tennessee.
Another Sanderson Farms week has come and gone. We are joined by Sanford Moore to talk about all the action of what was one of the best tournaments we have had. It's a shame nobody was able to get out to CCJ to see the action live. Sergio Garcia won this 2020 edition in style as he played an incredible shot on 14 to setup an eagle and finished with a dart on 18 to finish with a birdie and take the title away from past champion Peter Malnati. It was a great week for sure and we are here to talk about it all.
It's finally Sanderson Farms week again! Join us as we preview some of the players and information leading up to this years tournament.
On this week's episode we spent some time discussing the US Open and the setup at Winged Foot. We think it is going to be a great week to watch some golf! We also have a couple of Mississippians in the field and we are excited to follow both Andy Ogletree and Davis Riley during their rounds.
We wrapped up this weeks episode talking with Kyle Sisk, the Director of Golf at Randy Watkins Golf Group. We talked with Kyle to spotlight the upcoming tournament benefitting Andi's Army. The interview starts at about the 22 minute mark of the episode. All of the proceeds from the tournament go to two incredible organizations that really care for the needs of those with special needs in our state, the Central Mississippi Down Syndrome Society and The Little Lighthouse

This week we discuss the Tour Championship and the quick start to the next PGATour season.
Also we discuss the KornFerry and other events happening such at the LocalIQ Series and the Canada Life Series that are aimed at getting some of the KornFerry, Mackenzie, LatinoAmerica Tour Players some places to play over the coming months.
We wrapped up the episode with an itereview about the upcoming 5th Squad charity tournament. The proceeds go to a great cause helping military veterans who are in need.

We covered a lot of ground this week on the podcast. Lots of updates from the MGA's recent events. We looked at the winners of the MS Women's Am, and the MS Jr Am (Boy's and Girls).
Also we discuss the recent news that the Sanderson Farms Championship will be played without fans this year.
There has been some movement on the development of the old Colonial Country Club Property. We have linked to a very interesting article here from GolfCourseArchitecture.com about the plans to move forward with a 12 hole course design that will be known as Brazenhead.

Jackson Navtive Wilson Furr won the stroke play portion of the US Am earlier this week by shooting a course record 62 in his second round. In this week's episode we recap Davis Riley's 2nd KFT win of the season. This win came at the TPC San Antonio Championship at the Oaks. With one more win this season, Riley would earn and automatic promotion to the PGA Tour.
Also this week we discussed the Mississippi PGA Trustmark Invitational. This event allows both Amateurs and Professionals to compete in the same event. Kyle Ellis ran away with the title in the Pro Division shooting and 3 day total of -12. On the amateur side, Trey Denton edged out Joe Deraney by shooting a final round 64 to win by one stroke with a 3 day total of -12.
We are joined again this week by Sanford Moore and we discuss the 2020 Mississippi State Am that took place at Annandale Country Club last weekend. The 2020 Champion is Isaiah Jackson from Golden, MS. Jackson plays golf collegiately at the University of Memphis. He beat a very strong field in some conditions that were not the most favorable in the early rounds.
