College student Stacie Pannell was found bludgeoned to death in her college dorm in the small town of Booneville, Mississippi. Police were at a loss until a very unlikely suspect was identified.Fun Fact: Root beer was created in Biloxi by Edward Adolf Barq. Though the first examples of root beer date back to the 1870s as a drink for miners, it wasn't until later that it gained popularity. The modern version of the drink was invented in Biloxi, Mississippi. Barq created the now-famous Barq's root beer in 1898. This week we are covering a serial killer out of Huntsville, Texas. Daniel Lee Corwin killed three women in the East Texas area and attempted to kill two others. He was finally caught when one of his victims survived and was determined to find her attacker.Fun Fact: The Texas State Penitentiary at Huntsville opened in 1849, one year after the state legislature created the penitentiary system.
